Manufacturing Manager:
Manage production, process engineering and equipment maintenance in the areas of SMT, wave solder, harness assembly, PCBA and final assembly. This position reports directly to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced team oriented environment. Major responsibilities and duties include: -Direct manufacturing team with focus and drive on quality, on-time delivery, cycle time reduction, plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives. -Analyze manufacturing process, define standards, measure performance metrics and apply lean concepts for cost optimizations. -Establish data collection and institute defect tracking system to support 6-sigma initiatives. -Create and maintain consistent practices in the day-to-day operating environments, including communications, leadership and policy implementation. -Build cohesive relationship with all levels of associates, and ensure appropriate staff selection, training, development, performance, coaching and direction. -Adhere operating procedures and work instructions with a commitment to continuous improvement and achieve product performance goal. -Continuously drive manufacturing cost and product quality to meet company objectives. -Establish priorities, determine requirements and set standards on all aspects of production. The qualified candidate must have the following: -Minimum 6 years progressive hands-on experience in manufacturing environment -Possess strong PCBA experience with thorough knowledge in IPC-A-610D standards and ISO quality management system -Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and 6-sigma implementations -Familiar with operating and maintaining SMT and wave solder equipment -Demonstrate ability to analyze raw data to produce meaningful results and recommend improvements -Proactive problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office -Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese -Demonstrate comfort in communicating with all levels of the organization, customers and suppliers -System and process oriented; ability to document procedures in flow chart format. -Bachelor degree in technical and/or management disciplines
